  • ‘A map of the Strand of the north side of the channel of the River Anna Liffe as it was granted and set out in Easter assembly 1717 by the Rt, Honourable Thomas Bolton Esqr. Lord Mayor of the City of Dublin. William Empson and David King Esqr. Sherriffs of the said city and the deeds and this map perfected in the mayoralty of the RT. Honouble. Anthony Barkey Esqr. Lord Mayor, John Reyson & Vincent Kidder Esq. Sherriffs.’ With MS name: ‘William [Bigger?], 7 Oct 1825’. Thomas Bolton was Lord Mayor of Dublin for the year 1716/1717, and Anthony Barkey took over this role the following year, 1717/18. John Reyson assumed the position for the year 1724/25, and was followed thereafter by William Empson for the year 1726/27.
