Attributed to Terence Clarke.Signatures/ Inscriptions: Top left hand side, in red ink: ‘E’; right hand side, in pencil: ‘The soul of the faithful, the dove, receives its reward, the laurel crown, and everlasting peace, the olive branch’; inscriptions inside design: left light, bottom, in sepia ink: ‘Joseph most pure; right light, bottom, in sepia ink: ‘patron of the dying’; bottom left hand side, in pencil: ‘No. inscriptions’; bottom right hand side, in pencil: ‘Clarke Studios, Dublin.’Materials: Pencil, pen and ink, gouache and watercolour on thin light weight card cut iand adhered overall to mount board with off white coloured facing paper.Measurements: Designs: 21.6 x 4.3 cm; mount board: 42 x 29.8 cm.
