Dowling, bottom right hand side of the design; top left hand side, in pencil: ‘Order No. 2889; top right hand side: ‘Top part need not be enlarged’; right hand side: ‘50 inches’, ‘This part only’; bottom right hand side: ‘Clarke Studios Dublin’; bottom left hand side: ‘Scale 11/2”=1 foot’; underneath design: ‘19 inches’, ‘19 inches’; left hand side: ‘This part.’Materials: Pencil, pen and ink, watercolour and gouache on arched window shaped card cut out and adhered overall to moount board with off white facing paper.Measurements: Design: 28.2 x 16.3 cm; mount board overall: 38.1 x 24 cm.
