Corrections and Additions: notes by a 15th century hand, and by a 16th century distinctively Irish hand. The 15th century hand (especially on fols. 9-10) gives explanations in English for some Latin words in the text. A 16th century hand numbered the chapters of Vita S. Patricii. Decoration: Border with foliage in gold and colours on fols. 2 and 96v (lower part of border on 2 is cut away): full border on fol. 96v, border on fol. 2 probably had been full. Initials blue with red flourishes (initial on fol. 96v is red and white on gold and coloured ground, with foliage in colours; initial on fol. 34v is flourished with bearded head); capitals marked with yellow. Collation analysis: 1, i(8) (lacks 1; 2 and 7 not conjoint) ii-xvi(8) xvii(8) (lacks 3, 8). Catchwords sometimes flourished (e.g. with crude head on 24v and 96v): these flourishes sometimes yellow; leaf signatures.
