  • IE TCD MS 2208: John Questebrone, maps. Questeborne was domestic chaplain to the Earl of Galway, and vicar of Burnchurch, Co. Kilkenny, 1716-29. MS 2208 contains 'A true collection of severall letters on various subjects &c. written by severall persons and on various incidents', now contains: decorated title-page -- maps of 'parts of the counties of Corke and Waterford' -- of the 'Southern part of the county of Corke' -- 'the barony of Kinalea' [Cork city to the sea] -- flower decoration -- map of 'the King and Queen's Counties' -- of 'the county of Dublin' -- of centre of the county of Dublin -- of London and environs -- of the 'countrey about London City out of Blau Atlas by John Questebrone' -- of the 'hundred of Michel de Vere in Hampshire' -- of Hampshire -- of Kilkenny county -- of the liberties of Kilkenny city and Shellilogher barony -- table of the 'tithes of Burnchurch Union viz Jerpoint Abbey, Burnchurch & Deansfort, 1716-22 -- 'Letter 49th, to Alexis' re South Sea Stock 1720 -- 'Letter 50th, to Alexis' -- Governors of Ireland 1690-1721. Many pages torn out or cut out, ?chiefly the letters referred to in the title.TCD MS 2207 is also by his hand.
