The design features two mysteries of the rosary: the Crowning of thorns, and the Scourging at the column, as well as an angel at the top encased in quatrefoil tracery.Materials: Pencil on cream coloured paper, mounted on passe partout with cream facing paper and three apertures.Measurements: Designs (total): w325 x h148 mm; mount: h547 x w273 mm.Annotations: Centre right: ‘[?] head of Christ downwards’; ‘make name of [?]’; bottom centre: ‘Queen of Prophets’; ‘Queen of martyrs’.
