  • IE TCD MS 10823 is a First World War diary of Lt. Col. Charles Howard-Bury, recounting some experiences he had as a prisoner of war in Germany. Mainly typescript, but it has inserted manuscript folios: folios 1-31, 34-36, 37-47 are typescript top copies (except folios 18 and 25 which are carbons), but all typed folios are annotated often heavily, in black ink and marked in pencil. Foliated as follows: i, 1-33, 33a, 34-36, 36a, 37-38, 38a, 39-47 (51 folios in all). Full transcription PDF also available below.
