  • IE TCD MS 3415 is a notebook of Captain Stanley Cyril Beresford Mundey which contains an account of his experiences during the Great War, including his imprisonment by the Turks after the Siege of Kut, 1916-18. Beresford-Mundey served in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry (43rd). With notes, corrections, and additions.This notebook was originally accompanied by some large format material, now recorded as reference number IE TCD MS 3415a/1-4, removed from volume, and not imaged here:/1 - Map of Kut-el-Amarah;/2 - The Fort at Kut-el-Amarah as it was on the evening of December 24th 1915;/3 - Map of Kut-el-Amarah;/4 - Map including Suwaich Marsh.For other Beresford-Mundey accounts of the Great War see also: IE TCD MS 3414, 3416, and 3417.
