Abstract
  • Extracts from the diary of Ina Boyle of Bushey Park, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow. Probably copied out much later than the dates they concern (maybe in 1956, see the slip of the pen below). Many concern Dr. Ralph Vaughan Williams. They start with 'A few notes on' 'Lesson(s) from Dr. Vaughan Williams Feb 3rd 1928' and continue with notes headed Feb 4th, 9th, 11th, 20th, 21st, 24th; March 1930 at Dorking, March 15th, 20th, 27th, March 1931 at 30 Glebe Place, June 17th 1933 at College Hall, Malet Street; June 20th at College Hall; June 25th at College Hall; Feb 27 1934 at Dorking (from this point on everything is in blue biro which had not been invented in 1934 and so is later copying), Novbr 1 1956 [sic, for 1934], May 1936 at Dorking, Sat 30th [?May], June or July 1939, copied in blue-black ink (some correction in pencil) as far as folio 19v; continued in blue biro 19v-22r.
