  • Gregory Nazianzenus, Sermons. Folio 1r, top outer margin, numbered in a ?French hand '1317 n.6' written vertically in pencil, possibly by a previous owner. Folio 1r, top outer corner, modern manuscript citation '2887' written in pencil. Folio 1r, inner upper corner and inner lower corner, 'X' in pencil.A note in black pen in hand of former Keeper of Manuscripts William O' Sullivan, on a brown envelope housed in the same covering-folder as MS 2887, says: 'GREEK FRAGMENTS (3) (formerly kept in folder with Codex Palatinus) (before that in show case with Cod. Palat.)'; and in pencil on the same sheet '2885-7'.
