To the Right Honourable the Provost and to the Fellows and Scholars of the College of the Holy Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin this plan is most humbly inscribed by their most obedient and most humble servant. Bernard Scale.’ The Provost of Trinity College at the time was Francis Andrews, who held the position from 1758 to 1774.
