  • Copy of the Irish Proclamation originally pasted over 11 British Army recruiting posters, and said to have been torn from the walls of the G.P.O. at Easter 1916. All of the items have now been conserved, with the Proclamation encapsulated in polyester film and shelved with the separate individual posters; see Papyrus Case 16, nos. 2-12.Imperfect: frayed at top edge with some loss of text.At head of title: Poblacht na hÉireann.
